Oh I guess this needs a title
Facebook's stylesheets aren't loading. Everything looks delightfully low-tech, like I'm on Netscape 4 hunting down They Might Be Giants lyrics. It's 1997 all over again. In general, It's been a bad day for technology. One iMac retired from it's job of churning out mid-grade real estate marketing material, and set out on its new life as a widescreen paperweight. While a stylish, eye-catching and heavy ornament, the blank black screen only serves as a crushing reminder of mortality and the current limits of today's solar power technology.
Tomorrow I am to be left unsupervised for up to 24 hours. A full day of unbridled debauchery will be unleashed across the Lower Mainland. I plan on visiting convenience stores in every single GVRD municipality, and consuming vast quantities of Orange Pop and beef jerky. The cat just stepped onto the keyboard. He's turned on fullscreen browsing, and I can't remember the keyboard shortcut to turn it off. So I am now a prisoner to this blog, able to only navigate to other posts and help documents within this Nothing-ness. The parade of technological cat-astrophes (sorry) continues. Trapped in this Firefox cage, I eagerly await one of you to comment with the F key I'm looking for.
Oh, I see, I can just right-click at the top of the screen to get out.
