Moving House
When I tell you that I will help you move, I mean just that.
I will help you move.
What I am not volunteering to do is help you pack your shit.
After we were done moving things, we moved animals.
Cats + Car = Me getting crapped on
You know.. my sisters have never helped me move.

I helped a friend “move” a few years ago, and had the same exact problem. I barely even got to do the fun job of carrying boxes and stuff around, but rather, the task of making sure everything was IN boxes. Needless to say, I don’t help people move anymore!

I am a moving veteran. I have helped in at least 15 moves, ranging from a small Toyota pickup containing one bedroom worth of contents up to a 27′ UHaul filled ENTIRELY with mattresses (discount soundproofing). The stupid thing is I am the weakest man I know, and yet I’m always the one helping people move. Moving is probably the most exercise I get. Ever.
Of course, now we’re moving at the end of this month and not a single person has offered to help (well, Steph sorta did… but she’s tiny).
