I went to a birthday party last night, when all I wanted to do was stay home.  Sometimes I hate the social butterfly I’ve become.  Probably haven’t read a book in a month.  Probably forgot how to read.  Makes me wonder how I can still write.  Oh… no wait…. I read Extreme Birds last week.  Phew.

I miss my best friend.  Two kids, a husband, in-laws, pets and a job have made her a little too busy for me… or for friends in general.

Early this year, I did something I’d been meaning to do for a long time, but hadn’t the heart to do until recently.  I removed the Matthew Good cds from my cd case, and returned them to their original cases.  I haven’t listened to them in probably over two years, and they were taking up way too much space in my 48 cd case.  It felt wonderful putting them away.  Plus it made room for newer ones.  I’ll miss thinking I hear the word “fishsticks” in a couple songs, but that’s about it.  I thought I’d miss more, but I don’t.

Breakfast: pancakes… waffles….. or smoothie.

I want the stuff I ordered to come in already.  I’m through being patient.  Gimme.  Gimme now.

This weeks’ forecast:  Some stress relieving shrieks/yells/crying/puking, work, making plans to NOT go out, with a good chance of showers.

You get put in a giant room with free booze and free food and nothing but hours to drink it, eat it and make an ass out of yourself to the people you work with every day. I was no exception. Fortunately enough, the people I was socializing with were drinking just as much as me so I am hoping the entire evening was forgotten, even if I haven’t. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go die of embarrassment and liver failure.

In the mean time, this was a hot topic around bar…and earlier at the office that day. Genius.

Next weekend I will be playing in a tournament.

BAHHH new Word Press so soon?!

I crave cantaloupe. It is so weird because up until yesterday, I really never cared for it. The very thought of it deterred me from buying fruit salad because in most cases cantaloupe would be the bulk of one. But I actually crave it and bought one and ate half of it today. It is almost like the time I went from disliking Fettucini Primavera to loving it back when I was 9. Perhaps my tastebuds underwent another level of maturity?

I would just like to share with everyone how difficult this was to accomplish for someone with no coordination and balance whatsoever.
