So I was in the grocery store after work today, Safeway to be exact, purchasing some odds and ends that I am out of and as I was strolling down the chip aisle looking for anything that appealed to me, I became disappointed. Here I stood in front of upwards of likely 50 different kinds of chips to buy, and amongst all of them none seemed to pique my interest. I wondered what the problem was, and then it hit me. I wanted THUNDER CRUNCH. I know I have probably said it before, but what the hell ever happened to that chip? Those were fucking awesome! I wonder if there is a Facebook group out there dedicated to resurrecting Thunder Crunch.
On another delightfully hilarious note, it seems that this particular Safeway recently changed the aisles so now everything is in a different place. I guess it was a bit of an oversight when they did rearrange the aisles to place the diet shakes and weight loss supplements directly across the aisle from the cookies and junk food?

Remember when the CFOX seeds artists were the guys that we admired and worshiped?
Digging around in my old old long-since-archived-and-removed-from-my-hard-drive files, I came across this and laughed and laughed and laughed. This makes me question everything I ever believed in as a kid…Happy New Year

And yet I derive no joy. Weird.

Most of Viva La Vida was good, sans the title track and that one track that sounds like it belonged on the Lion King soundtrack, I liked Parachutes and adored A Rush Of Blood To The Head. X&Y was brutal but because everyone else liked it, it got the shit played out of it beyond the level of annoyance which completely put me off of them and the new record. Yet with my soured view, I think this is kinda sad news. I agree with the concept behind the decision, but on the other hand I think that they have a few more records left in them and would like to note that the great rock bands of the world over the last century put out tons of great records before packing it in, a few of them are still around, recording and touring. But I know full well that in today’s music industry, that same status enjoyed by bands like Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, the Stones, AC/DC, The Who, Van Halen etc. who churned out far more records in their lifespan is more or less unobtainable (unless you are Radiohead, they can do wrong it seems). If you are on top, you’ll know it, and therefore you should expect to fall. It seems they get that.

Best recurring SNL sketch in a loooong time:

My favorite is the financial crisis one.
Not since the days of Will Ferrell have I laughed this hard at an SNL sketch.

This one may be familiar to some of you, as it was on Matthew Good’s blog for awhile.
I have made some minor adjustments to it, but for the most part it is the same.
I really like how it doesn’t show the whole post on the main page, and after all the time I spent trying to get the damn xhtml valid, you had better love it (Only one of the errors was in the theme, the rest were and will remain plugin related).
Still no update to the Word Press software.
Now I am kind of afraid I will break everything.
Blah.
This weekend, I promise.

I do not have access to the sql administration for this domain.
I won’t be updating the software until I can get the necessary info needed to login as root and back up the database.
So, instead of new software, I bring you new theme.
I hope to have the software updated by this weekend.
In the meantime, please suggest some categories.
Keta came up with three.
Are there any more that you want to see?
