The Politics of Not Caring
Watched/heard the Canadian debate tonight. It was pretty entertaining, and I enjoy that our national debate sounded (at times) like a townhall meeting over zoning regulations where half the partipants are boozed up and tired of waiting for the microphone. But I missed most of it because I spent a great deal of time making turkey burgers and cutting myself (somehow) on a wine bottle.

I am amazed at the amount of "If 1,000,000 people join this group..." groups on Facebook. Has any decision in the history of this entire decade ever been decided by a Facebook group? 7,000,000,000 people could all join the same Facebook group outlawing the sale of leaky Tupperware containers, yet the practice would still continue. The only thing the internet has ever accomplished is pointing out Photoshop frauds and making us all really horny. Bless you Web 2.0. You are the car crash of voyeurism and exhibitionism that humans have been trying to perfect since Adam & Eve.
Also, thank you Internet. I am dumber and smarter at the same time. I know more about the German trucking regulations and Napoleon, but sentences and words are harder to put together in coherent order.
